Working in a large environment, the primary responsibility of the role is to own and deliver the Service Request Catalogue Management Strategy, Roadmap and Processes to ensure the Service Request Fulfilment process are efficient and can deliver expected results within defined timeframes.

As an analyst, you will work closely with the customer and request fulfilment to identify automation opportunities and SRC item candidates to provide improved efficiency in the environment.

You will provide a vision and roadmap for how the SRC  is expected to change and develop and improve over time. As part of the CTO team, you will develop, create and maintain the continuous improvement and innovation of the service catalogue for a hybrid cloud. Work with developers, operations teams and senior stakeholders to champion the technical direction for the service catalogue

Qualifications

Experience

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s objectives.  

You will also have:

  • Proven experience working as a lead or manager in the Service Catalogue, Service Request Catalogue or Request Fulfilment discipline\
  • Solid working knowledge relating to major IT platforms and infrastructure, including Networks, Storage, Hypervisors,  Database and cloud technologies.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of vmWare automation tools and ServiceNow would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of IT system lifecycles and how this is delivered through different cloud providers
  • Project management experience would be an advantage
  • Business and Process analysis experience
  • Good understanding and wide application of service management documentation and day to day requirements of managed services delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
  • Previous experience in programming and building catalogue items in Service Now and DSMS

Qualification and Skills

You will preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with substantial relevant professional experience and specialised training that is commensurate with the assignment. 

You will also have 

  • Relevant certifications or Professional membership would be desirable – ITIL, Prince2, ServiceNow, AWS, Azure and Microsoft products, Vmware, SCCM 
  • Strong experience on vmWare automation (VRA) or ServiceNow  
  • Previous experience as an automation engineer is essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Project management experience
  • Well-developed Business Analysis ability
  • Highly effective in managing multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risk
  • Good initiative in developing and improving systems and procedures
  • Ability to independently develop and determine approaches to solutions in a practical and creative manner
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details
  • Building process workflow documentations and diagrams

 

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to obtain a a baseline security clearance.
