Job Description

Your new role

As member of the Australian HR Leadership team reporting to HR Director – APAC you will have accountability for the Centre of Excellence of Workplace Relations, Ethics, Health & Wellbeing and HR Governance. You will enjoy balancing multiple requirements of supporting operational challenges, investigations and case management whilst providing strategic advice that will lift capability and mitigate risk across the enterprise. 

Your other accountabilities include:

  • Design and deliver Workplace Relations frameworks, policies, processes, reporting and education.
  • Provide advice to HRBPs and line managers on investigations and act as an escalation point for complex matters and may lead/ guide investigative matters. 
  • Provide SME advice to stakeholders on Australian industrial relations frameworks and industrial instrument interpretation, education and application.
  • Australian Ethics lead providing advice, education, communication and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for HR policy framework compliance with US and Australian requirements.
  • Responsible for HSE governance including design and development of enterprise People objectives and policies reporting to executive team and HR business operating rhythms.

 

About you and what you will bring to this opportunity

You are a Senior HR professional with a natural flare to coach and guide your customers, peers and stakeholders. It’s important that you have current Australian workplace relations knowledge & experience with Fair Work Australia requirements and general Awards. Your experience in scoping, planning and delivering reporting on strategic people plans will see you provide tangible insights that help influence and shape decision making across the business.  You also have experience in HSE governance/policy and thrive in an environment with competing agendas.
