Job Description
Your New Role
Leidos Australia, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support program activities including the monthly outlook, month end closing and accruals process, program performance reporting, labour reporting, invoicing/timecharging analysis and project profitability analysis.
Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):
Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the Company’s cost accounting system
Responsible for administration and reporting of charge codes and cost allocation
Liaison to the business for indirect cost rates, compliance with Cost Principles
Actively encourages conversion of indirect cost to direct cost.
Analyse financial information and prepare financial and labour reports.
Ensure timely and accurate time reporting and expenditure for staff including compliance initiatives and training for employees.
Preparation of presentations or reports for the Business Operations Manager
Qualifications
About you and What You’ll Bring
- Experience working in a FP&A environment ensuring budget development, financial control, forecasting and proposal support.
- Prior experience working with project teams is required.
- Experience in working with large multinational corporate experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with and experience using financial systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion, CostPoint or similar systems.
- Ability to manage multiple project analysis and reporting, financial analysis, financial reporting and forecasting, accounting, billing and budgeting.
- Financial and analytic career history.
