Job Description

As a Lead System’s engineer you will be part of the Defence Missions Systems Business Unit, working with programs to understand their technical requirements, and determining the best way of meeting them with appropriate, verifiable solutions. The Lead will strengthen program engineering performance; support Business Development with RFT analysis and technical solution development, including Technical Document writing.

The Lead Systems Engineer is required to have a wholistic and long-term view, encompassing; functional, non-functional, ILS and Supportability requirements, and the assessment and integration of technical equipment against them.

Your responsibilities will also include

Maintain and share professional knowledge and experience with Defence Platforms and Integrated Systems, C4ISR, and support programs across Defence Mission Systems programs.

Support technical teams with integration and V&V on large complex programs.

Qualifications

Tertiary Degree or higher, in an Engineering or related field (Eligible for IEAust CPEng)

Systems Engineering qualifications / INCOSE certification (Desirable)
