Job Description

Your New Role

As Receptionist and Concierge, you will be the face of our Corporate Head Office in Canberra and occasionally work across multiple sites. Your role will be varied and include welcoming all Guests to Leidos and administering relevant security passes and protocols, escorting Guests to relevant meeting rooms and managing all incoming calls.

You’ll also be responsible for managing an email inbox, collecting incoming mail and conducting monthly audits of security passes. As the Head Office often host events, you’ll have the opportunity to coordinate relevant catering requirements and assist in preparing meeting spaces the events.

The role will also include but not be limited to additional tasks such as:

  • Logging maintenance calls in line with facilities management;
  • Management of facilities such as the visitor car parking access;
  • Adhoc data entry and administrative support including invoicing;
  • Distribution of newspapers;  
  • Replenishment of Coffee, tea, milk and related items.

Qualifications

About you and what you’ll bring

You thrive in a customer facing role and have demonstrated experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or a similar background. You are a skilled multi-tasker and are able to balance a variety of tasks throughout a busy day. You communicate clearly and pride yourself on your professionalism and courteous approach and you seek out opportunities to exceed expectations. 

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to obtain a security clearance to the NV1 level.

We are open to considering a job share arrangement, should the successful applicant wish to work on a part-time arrangement
