Job Description

Your New Role

Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will assist Leidos to connect Australian businesses with global opportunities and be responsible for program compliance and reporting to the Commonwealth. The team is responsible for increasing bid opportunities for Australian companies in the Leidos Global Supply Chain. The Office is also responsible for training, developing skills, and helping to promote Australian companies on a global scale. You will play a key role in the Office by ensuring an efficient and professional environment, which will involve collaboration with Australian Industry, our UK/US entitles, and may involve liaison with personnel in other countries. There will be a small amount of domestic travel in the role as well as a requirement to run and manage events.

‘A Day in the Life’ will see you:

  • Provide support in connecting Australian businesses with global opportunities.
  • Develop relationships across Australian Industry and our partners.
  • Develop and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and look for methods that are more efficient for tracking relationships.
  • Establish processes and procedures which assist in getting the job done.
  • Produce quarterly and half-yearly reporting as per government requirements
  • Manage the administrative functions of the team, which will span multiple countries, multiple states, and liaison with multiple lines of business.
  • Contribute to annual budget and planning process.
  • Able to manage and run small scale events that may be required.

 

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring

  • Experience working in a professional business environment, either a project office or liaison/reporting/compliance office.
  • Have familiarity with a CRM or relationship management system and be able to bring ideas into the development of one from the ground-up.
  • Experience developing and producing monthly reporting  for an executive audience.
  • Ability to run successful networking events.
