Job Description

This role will see you play an integral part of the ITIL teams who support the Enterprise Service Management Centre. Working closely with the EOC Duty Manager your role will involve: 

  • Provide coordination of deployment and incident activities across Service Providers
  • Ensure that deployments and incidents  are effectively managed during the deployment windows
  • Manage deviations, risks, issues related to the deployment including effectively recording issues, actions & results
  • Prepare & conduct Post Change and Post Incident Reviews
  • As part of a team, participate in Release Advisory Boards
  • Conduct technical bridges involving multiple Service Providers
  • Work with the various release and incident specialists responsible for the management of day-to-day release and incident management activities within a specific Service Provider or support group.
  • Prepare & distribute deployment and incident related communications
  • Under limited direction, be able to develop innovative and creative approaches to addressing issues and challenges for deployment management
  • Facilitate adherence of release and incident management SLA’s and KPIs
  • Support the implementation of the release and incident management processes and procedures
  • Identify re-occurring deployments that are highly prescriptive that can be standardised
  • Identify re-occurring incidents that are trending and ensure they are escalated to problem management
  • Assist in maintaining all release and incident management documentation including process & procedures, Standard operating procedures and developing Knowledge. 

Qualifications

You have experience in an ITIL function and experience in Incident, Release or ITIL operations would be highly valued. You are a team player and enjoy driving process improvements. Your have strong interpersonal skills and excel in building relationships with your peers and with  the customer. This is a 24/7 shift roster and you'll be rewarded with a compettive salary. 

  • ITIL V3 Foundations as a minimum
  • Incident & Release Management experience would be highly desirable
