We have an opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our Sourcing and Commercial Management function across the Australian enterprise.  Our Sourcing and Commercial Management organisation provides a range of shared services, along with senior leads and teams embedded in program and service delivery, as well as our Capture team.

You will also be responsible in a matrix, for the Sourcing and Commercial Management cohort, with senior leads across the business (delivery, capture, shared services) reporting directly to you. In leading this team you will empower and support these leads to work directly with the relevant executive and their leadership teams to deliver outcomes. This role will see you manage senior professionals who lead negotiations for business lines.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be a Senior Leader within the Operations business, responsibilities include;

  • Providing advice and guidance, with surge support as required to the Sourcing and Commercial Management delivery and capture leads.
  • Responsible for the delivery of Sourcing and Commercial Management shared services with the support of that team.
  •  Build and maintain a high performing team, creating career pathways and development opportunities across the function.
  • Represent the AU business in collaboration with the Operations Director to ensure corporate compliance, leverage corporate experience and processes, provide transparency and reporting on AU operations and collaborate on business improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for independent review of project and new business proposals.
  • Work with General Counsel to provide excellent commercial advise and support ITAR and other compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to annual and long range budgeting and planning process.

Additional Information

This position can be based in Canberra or Melbourne (Scoresby).

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to obtain a security clearance to the NV1 level.
