About your new role

Working in a fast paced environment, this role will be responsible to design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems with touchpoints from the requirements phase through to operationalisation. Working within our team, you will determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.  This includes coordinating design of subsystems and integration of total system. You will also identify, analyse, and resolve program support deficiencies,  develop and recommend corrective actions. 

The role will require close collaboration with program CTO, delivering systems and solutions towards a strategic roadmap. This role manages around 6-8 full time staff within the architecture team - they're a highly engaged team so bring your creative leadership skills to life.

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s objectives. You will be able to pursue opportunities to expand our clients thinking.  

You will also have:

  • Extensive professional experience working in a senior role within an engineering or project environment.
  • Excellent leadership capability with a focus on coaching and growing capability within the existing team
  • Excellent knowledge and application of a broad range of skills including software, systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols;
  • Excellent problem solving skills with proven ability to resolve complex technical problems and provide innovative and ingenious solutions;
  • Ability to apply advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts;
  • Highly exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in developing systems and processes to support complex commercial models - Example:  As a Service
  • Preales Experience

Qualifications

Qualifications

At least a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with substantial relevant professional experience and specialised training that commensurate with the assignment.
