About your new role

Working within a systems engineering team, your role will involve turning customer requirements into complex and varied solutions.

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Conversion of customer requirements into system requirements and constraints;
  • Applying the Systems Engineering Process over the life of a project;
  • Contribution to the completion of specific programs and projects;
  • Writing technical documentation including but not limited to detailed designs and implementation plans;
  • Troubleshooting of deployed applications and managed systems within the environment;
  • Communicating high level technical principles to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring

You are a seasoned Systems Engineer with a track record of delivering solutions in a complex Federal Government, Defence or Commercial sector organisation. 

Highly valued are: 

  • MCSA in 2012 or later certification desirable.
  • Professional experience within the relevant technologies and domains including:
    • ITIL framework and knowledge of its key concepts.
    • Understanding of the OSI and TCPIP Models;
    • All versions of Windows Servers and management of AD, DNS and DHCP roles.
    • Data centre virtualization technologies (VMware & Citrix).
    • Knowledge in the following types of technologies: Certificate authorities, Mobile Device Management, Directory services, Storage systems, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Networks, Firewalls, Public Cloud, IPS, Automation, Orchestration.

Additional Information

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and ideally have a current Baseline security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
