Job Description

Working in a small and varied team you will be a trusted partner and provide a high level of quality support across a variety of financial and project activities. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within budget by working in conjunction with the Project Managers and other internal stakeholders. You will also be involved at the initial stage of the project managing the associated costs require for the project. Your tasks may include:

  • Reviewing & analysing individual project costs to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintaining labour rate cards
  • Pricing of tender responses and contract variations, using the contracted rate cards.
  • Trusted partner of the Project Delivery teams.
  • Provide analysis, commentary and recommendations on project variances.
  • Reviewing labour charge codes to ensure it is recorded to the correct project.

Qualifications

About you

You will bring your previous experience in a similar role and be confident working in a complex project environment. You will be experienced in tendering and pricing (ideally with Commonwealth contracts) and be a true team player. Working in a small team there are times where the team need to jump in and support each other.

As well as your technical skills you will have

  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • The ability to work toward and achieve deadlines
  • Excellent collaboration coupled with the ability to develop working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Passion for process improvement
