About the role

Our business is in a significant growth period and we are constantly on the look for new talent to join us on our journey.

We are putting a call out to experienced Business Analysts to join our Canberra based team to   join an evolutionary project which has delivered a cohesive and integrated Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) for the Australian Defence Force operations. This is a highly rewarding program, providing exposure to unique and engaging contexts.

Qualifications

About you

You will be a strategic thinker, using your initiative and decision making to deliver policy development. You will thrive in being a creative, lateral thinker, with ability to chart a systematic course amongst ambiguity and potential political landscapes. You will be able to support and mentor staff in the role of business analysis and transformation, mentoring and leading to successes with knowledge transfer.

Communication, listening and interpreting is key - highly effective communication, negotiation, persuasion will support the high standard of client service we are looking to provide.

Previous experience in the below is highly desirable:

·         effective leadership and management skills

·         capture and model current and planned future business processes

·         business case development

·         Previous experience manage Agile sprints;

·          Support Change Management and transition of solutions into production and operational use

·         Demonstrated understanding of ICT Service Management principles and practices (ITIL)

·         Demonstrated understanding of BABOK functions and roles

·         Demonstrated understanding of SDLC principles and practices

Technical skills are important but we can train and guide you if you don’t have all the criteria. Just as important are the personal attributes. We want flexible, open minded individuals that are happy to work in an agile and growing organisation. You will have a proactive approach with a strong ability to understand broader business, identify and develop relationships to help us achieve the company objectives.
