Your New Role

Our Sourcing and Commercial Management (SCM) Team have a Canberra (City location) opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our Centralised Processing portfolio with related subcontract commercial administrative support. 

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, 'a day in the life' will be as followings;

• Work in a Subcontract Management Team – providing support to the team that includes the Commercial Manager, Program Managers, Business Operations and other program personnel.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
• Support acquisition strategies for the program
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Participate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. 
• Sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters

About You and What You'll Bring 

• Complete understanding and application of procurement and contract management principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Professional experience in a similar role preferably in ICT
• Ability to work in complex environment
