About your new role

Working within a busy team, you will carry out unusually complex systems engineering assignments requiring high levels of familiarity and expertise with a broad field of engineering and technical knowledge. 

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Preparing for and participate in mandated engineering reviews;
  • Responsible for the planning, conduct and coordination of system engineering activities for designated work packages and projects;
  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects;
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines;
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints;
  • May represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

About you and what you'll bring

You have sound understanding of Systems Engineering concepts and methodologies and working experience with the following technologies: 

  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Networks, Firewalls, Public Cloud, IPS, Automation, Orchestration, Certificate authorities, Mobile Device Management, Directory services, Storage systems, Server.

Ideally you are degree qualified in Engineering and highly valued is the MCSA certification. Professional experience and/or certification with data centre virtualization technologies (VMware & Citrix) would also be highly valued. 

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and ideally have a current Baseline security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
