Leidos has an opportunity for as Head of Head of Quality Engineering and Control Australia.  This is a newly created role to lead the quality management function across our Australian enterprise and be part of the global Leidos quality management function.  This role will see you lead a team of quality assurance engineers and to be the independent review of project and new business proposals.  This is your chance to shape what 'good' looks like. 

You will be given the opportunity to coordinate the certification and surveillance audits for ISO9001 as well as initiating and executing internal quality audits.  You will engage with the Executive Leadership team, Senior Service Delivery managers and a Project/Program Managers across the enterprise.  A key challenge will be for you to manage competing demands for resources across various programs and develop quality management as an agile service-based function.

The successful candidate will offer experience in the construction of quality management systems and have demonstrated application of ISO 9001 standard and how it can be applied to improving quality outcomes along with;

• Experience implementing and optimising ISO 9001:2015, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and/or SEI CMMI Maturity Level 3 or higher, Quality Management Systems
• Has driven Quality Management and Assurance capability development in a medium-large, project-based enterprise and/or driven business reform across a matrixed business.
•  Knowledge and experience implementing quality management systems across multiple and disparate projects including Software Development and IT Services.
• Knowledge and experience with data and document control management.
• ISO 20000 and ISO 27000 experience is also considered desirable.
