Your New Role

Our Business Development Division has an opportunity for a well networked senior professional to take on a role as an Account Manager.  This role will see you be ‘hands on’ and develop new business for Leidos products and services in Australia, focusing on Home Affairs and Intelligence agencies to identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities and collaborate with the business area for growth in the region. This is a role that will see you engage across all parts of Leidos, including the Senior Executive level.

Responsibilities include;

  • Identify, qualify and capture new business opportunities for Leidos.
  • Execute the Company’s business capture management processes.
  • Coordinate customer relationships critical to new business development including partnership development.
  • Establish and maintain enduring, inclusive relationships and communication with key stakeholders at appropriate levels to qualify and grow the Home Affairs / Intelligence business.
  • Contribute to Request for Tender responses.
  • Provide input into current and long range business strategies to enhance the Company’s position in Australia

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring 

In addition to your outstanding stakeholder management skills, it is desirable that you will have either of the following skills and experience;

  • A strong network within Home Affairs / Intelligence communities
  • Are at the SES level or a seasoned EL2 from the desired agencies or equivelent
  • An experienced Account Manager with a core focus on Home Affairs portfolio or previous experience servicing Intelligence agencies

You must be able to demonstrate your ability to collaborate and network with senior stakeholders and enjoy engaging with people.  This role will be well suited to someone who is looking for a career change from public to private sector and are passionate about contributing to the success of an enterprise.
