Your New Role

This hybrid opportunity combines two main focuses: Talent Acquisition Lead to a key portfolio and Recruitment Insights Lead for Australia. You will support one or two Executives on the Australian Leadership team and provide advisory and direction to their sourcing approach. This will include hiring for new vacancies, managing project redeployments and overseeing the first six 6 months of the employee lifecycle. You will also provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced members of the Careers team.

With a new recruitment system recently implemented, you will be the lead in providing relevant insights and metrics to the Careers team and the broader business. This will require taking unstructured data from a range of sources and using it the understand recruitment trends, market analysis and more. These metrics will be used to improve our approach and will be reported on in key leadership meetings.

We are a mobile Careers team - this role will see you travel between the CBD, Scoresby and Clayton so a car is a must. We are moving toward a hot desking approach so you'll love the opportunity to mingle with different peers every day along with client groups.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring 

A seasoned Talent Acquisition Professional, you have demonstrated experience supporting an Executive and resourcing a portfolio independently.  You are able to influence decision making though a consultative and considered approach, recommending effective sourcing strategies. You are 'au fait' with metrics and data and are able to weave through data to discover stories and insights relevant to a business, using them to inform or solve complex challenges. A sense of humour and strong team orientation is a must!
