Job Description

Your New Role  

Leidos Australia, is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to support program activities including the annual operating plan, monthly outlook, month end closing and accruals process, program performance reporting, earned value management reporting, quarterly contract status review and profitability analysis. 

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Compilation and review of budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports.
  • Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the Company’s cost accounting system.
  • Responsible for administration and reporting of overhead budgets, charge codes and cost allocation.
  • Liaison to the business for indirect cost rates, compliance with Cost Principles.
  • Actively encourage conversion of indirect cost to direct cost.
  • Leadership and oversight of project billing analyst and billing processes
  • Management of coordination of business rhythms

Qualifications

About you and What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in a FP&A environment ensuring budget development, financial control, forecasting, financial modelling and general financial analysis.
  • Prior experience working in a project environment.
  • Experience in working with large multinational corporate experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with and experience using financial systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion, CostPoint, Business Objects.
  • Ability to manage multiple project analysis and management, financial analysis, financial reporting and forecasting, accounting, billing and budgeting.
  • Significant  financial and analytic career history.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to obtain a security clearance to the NV1 level.
