Organisation Capability Consultant

  • Full-time
  • Job Type: Maximum Tenure

Company Description

Our name isn’t the only thing that’s unique about Leidos Australia. We’re a complex systems integration company building world-class solutions across government and defence that ensure peace of mind for the entire nation. Supported by global backing from our US network, we’re trusted by our customers to deliver the most innovative answers to their most complex challenges. Seriously interesting work that benefits and safeguards every Australian. That’s where you come in.

Job Description

You will join a close-knit Organisation Capability team of three, within a broader HR team of 20. The Organisation Capability portfolio covers Leadership Development, Learning, Careers, Engagement, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, and Talent and you may be asked to get your hands dirty in any or all of these!

Working directly off the People Agenda for 2018, you may be given OD initiatives to own through scoping, design and delivery or you may be asked to collaborate with others to contribute to an overall solution – adaptability is important in our fast-moving environment. We are in a ‘design and build’ phase as we look to evolve our culture and firmly establish Leidos as an Australian employer of choice, plus we’re growing, so change is constant.

This role could be done in 4 or 5 days per week and we offer a flexible, high trust environment. We are based in Clayton, but are excited to be moving to our new Scoresby campus in only a few months.

About you and what you’ll bring
You are an experienced OD Generalist who thrives when given the freedom to create and implement. A depth of experience in scoping, designing and delivering OD initiatives is critical, and demonstrated experience in Leadership Development and Learning (design, development and facilitation) would be highly valued. You have no problem managing to timelines or managing stakeholders and can work in an ambiguous environment. We have a team oriented environment and work in an agile way, so your collaborative, pragmatic and common sense approach will see you settle in quickly. You have experience to draw on and are comfortable to ‘crack on with it’ once you understand the key deliverables and outcomes required. You always add a dose of innovation to everything you touch. A sense of humour and passion for your work are essential.

What you’ll love about this role
Post global merger, you will love our unique context. While we have over 1000 staff in Australia, you will feel like you’ve joined a small start-up company, where you are directly involved in shaping the business through your own OD interventions and initiatives. You’ll love the sense of achievement that comes with looking back and thinking, ‘look how far we’ve come!’
