Job Description

Our Classified business stream based in Melbourne is experiencing significant growth. To support this we are seeking a Senior ICT Business/Systems Analyst who holds an existing Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance. Our exciting classified programs develop bespoke systems covering a breadth of technologies and software engineering disciplines. 


As an experienced ICT Business/Systems Analyst you will work with a variety of key stakeholders within the customer domain to assist in formulating system requirements, developing system plans and documentation, reviewing/evaluating/testing existing systems, designing and modifying systems, and developing/providing detailed training material  to meet stakeholders needs.

You will carry out and/or lead varied activities that will include:
  • working with key stakeholders in the customer domain to formulate capability requirements to feed into product development
  • identifying, investigating, and analysing key stakeholders business processes to feed into product development

  • understanding the strategic needs and requirements of the key stakeholders and their respective business areas, assessing the key and hidden impacts of proposed solutions on existing processes

  • participate/lead agile story mapping to engage with key stakeholders to capture/communicate product capability roadmaps
  • provide guidance to key stakeholders on implementation/utilisation of specific technologies within the customers domain
  • assist with the testing and deployment of products and ensuring acceptable quality and integrity of the products developed
  • creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes for the products developed
  • assist the program manager in developing project plans and to cost, resource and manage product development

  • resolve difficult issues using professional knowledge and experience, identification and development of ideas and workable solutions, analysis of alternative courses of action and their implications

  • deliver presentations to key stakeholders, gain a shared understanding of the problem and make the proposed solution visible

The role is based in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with substantial relevant professional experience and specialised technical experience.

Additional Information

This role requires the successful applicant to hold an existing TSPV security clearance and to have 10+ years relevant experience within the customer domains of a classified business or similar environment.
