About the role

Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Mission Statement – “Ensures mission success through tailored Enterprise lean and agile approaches that utilise model-based and open architecture processes and tools”

The SE&I team provides specialist Configuration Analyst expertise including Configuration Management Process (design, development, change and baseline management) throughout various Leidos business areas as well as providing guidance on Technical Policy and Regulatory Framework. Additional functions include investigation and implementation of new technologies to further enhance business processes and outputs.

The SE&I team also provides Leidos core business support by establishing the people, processes and tools necessary to conduct it’s day-to-day engineering activities. As a member of the SE&I team, you will be involved in delivering capability in support of projects during various phases of the Configuration Management Framework as well as identifying ways to improve the Configuration Management process. This includes being involved with technical members and subject matter experts and as the Configuration specialist; bring the enterprise solutions together to deliver a capability to the client both within expected time frames and costs but also meeting technical regulatory frameworks and suitability for use.

About You and What you will bring

SE&I are looking for talented and enthusiastic configuration analyst that have a strong understanding of how Configuration Items and Change Management operate. Your background coupled with good interpersonal skills as well as using sound problem solving techniques to tackle the diverse day to day tasks that SE&I are involved in.

As a member of the SE&I team, you will be involved in working with technical individuals from various backgrounds and bring a Configuration management approach for the integration of the final solution, including Configuration Identifications activities to the Configuration Audits as well as involved in the configuration system administration, documentation, and  other Configuration activities. You will also be involved in  configuration process development as well as providing guidance to project teams in meeting the Leidos engineering and technical regulatory frameworks.In addition to the above, you will be managing the evaluation of new and emerging technologies and tools that can help technical and engineering staff to collaborate ideas and manage the end-to-end system design and integration in an efficient manner.
