Job Description

Your New Role

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.  

This is a fast paced environment and you will be required to review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.  You will be an expert in assessing project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. 

Responsibilities will include;

  • Identify, document, plan and execute the Program’s internal and customer facing governance business rhythms, including internal and customer program reviews.

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with
    project managers, line managers and clients.

  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction
    goals and objectives.

  • Ensure Program schedules for delivery are being tracked and comments/reviews are progressing.

  • Manage the Program schedule and prepare the status reports.

  • Compile reviews and analyse data.

  • Draft and/or review Program Communiques as required by senior program staff.

  • Plan and manage the Program resource requirements for any given engagement.

  • Manage the coordination of internal meetings with senior program staff.

Qualifications

Experience

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s
objectives.  

You will also have:

  • 5+ years of ICT project Delivery experience

  • Demonstrable ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment

  • Good understanding and application of PMBOK

  • Relevant certifications or Professional membership would be desirable.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and ideally hold an NV1 security clearance.
