Based in Paris, Legalstart is a leader in the French legal-tech space that aims at revolutionising legal services. We help business creators manage legal documents and paperwork in an automated fashion.
Since the launch of the site at the beginning of 2014, Legalstart has experienced a very strong growth. In this context, we are looking for highly motivated developers to help us consolidate our leading position in the French online legal services market.
We are still a team of 10 developers, looking to double in 2019.

Description du poste
We are looking for a lead software engineer passionate about technology and willing to contribute to the ambitious project of revolutionising law through technology.
Your main activities will be:
Act as a technical lead in your squad (4 devs): taking ownership on the good execution of the sprints and other tech processes, promoting best practices and mentoring juniors
Write tech specs, implement and maintain features of our product roadmap, including: our engine for generating flexible web forms, document automation, web scraping and automation...
Collaborating on definition of your squad product objectives, and co-leading quarterly planning and tech choices with the CTO.
Our stack today:
Backend: Python/Django Rest Framework, Celery.
Front-end: React/Redux, Gulp, Webpack.
Data: PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis.
Infrastructure: Docker, Heroku, AWS.
Other: Git, CI/CD (CircleCI),…
We offer a relocation package for foreign applicants. No full-remote.
Salary: 55k€ - 60k€.
All technical/product work is happening in English.
What we expect from you:
Strong willingness to lead a development team and interest in agile methodologies (a first lead experience is a plus).
Proficiency with code best practices and proven track record on architecture decisions.
You love team work.
Are an international team (India, Brazil, Togo, Tunisia, Netherlands).
Provide good health insurance.
Give developers a piece of time during each sprint for learning, sharing and small projects.
Organize regular internal hackathons for new projects.
Commit to personal growth.
Involve engineers in defining priorities with product people.
Actively learn and try technologies that we are passionate about. These days: blockchain technologies (in production!) and functional programming (Haskell, used for prototyping).
Host tech meetups in our office (Django Paris), and attend conferences (DjangoUnderTheHood in Amsterdam in 2016 for example).
