Joining us means helping to improve the lives of our customers and contributing to the success of the business every day.

Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Accounts Payable Administrator (9 months FTC) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

Would you like to build practical finance experience in a supportive and established Accounts Payable team?

We’re looking for an organised and accurate Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Group Finance function. You’ll help process supplier invoices and employee expenses, support supplier onboarding and make sure information is handled in line with our controls.

You do not need to be an Accounts Payable expert. We’ll provide training, so this could suit someone with strong administration or data-processing experience, a finance graduate, an apprentice, or someone looking to take their next step in finance.

The role is based in Cardiff, with hybrid working and office attendance on Mondays and Wednesdays.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and employee expense claims accurately
  • Checking information after input and resolving errors, holds and rejected items
  • Setting up and amending supplier and employee records using agreed procedures
  • Completing supplier vetting, due-diligence and supporting-document checks
  • Producing reports relating to invoices, expenses and supplier records
  • Preparing payment information in line with daily deadlines and controls
  • Responding to supplier and colleague queries clearly and professionally
  • Maintaining accurate, accessible and audit-ready records and procedures

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience of administration or data processing in a busy environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to accuracy
  • Ability to follow procedures and understand why appropriate controls matter
  • Confidence organising work and meeting deadlines
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn new systems and develop finance knowledge
  • Accounts Payable, Oracle or wider finance experience would be useful but is not essential

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
