Job Description
The Head of US Middle Office Oversight is responsible for leading and governing critical post-trade operational functions supporting L&G Asset Management America’s investment business. This role oversees Trade Services, Derivatives Operations, Collateral Management, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, and third-party service provider performance across global markets and investment products.
The position serves as the senior operational leader responsible for ensuring a controlled, scalable, and resilient operating model supporting the full investment lifecycle. Responsibilities include oversight of trade processing, settlement, derivative lifecycle management, collateral administration, cash and position reconciliations, asset servicing activities, operational risk management, and outsourced service provider governance.
The role partners closely with Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Compliance, Fund Administration, Technology, Custody, Brokers and external service providers to deliver operational excellence, risk management while driving automation, control enhancement, and strategic transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
Experience
- 12-15+ years of investment operations, middle office, or post-trade operational experience
- Deep expertise across trade services, settlements, derivatives, collateral management, reconciliations, corporate actions, and outsourced operating models.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple operational disciplines through managers and senior team leads.
- Proven track record managing operational risk, controls, regulatory audits, and strategic transformation initiatives.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of:

Additional Information
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan.
