This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the control environment through first-line assurance activity, helping to assess the effectiveness of controls, identify areas for improvement and support better risk management across the business.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll contribute to assurance planning, control testing, governance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to ensure robust governance practices and good customer outcomes.
What you'll be doing:

- Contributing to assurance planning by reviewing risk assessments, incidents, issues, audit findings and other risk indicators
- Applying assurance methodologies and standards consistently across testing activities and reviews
- Planning, executing and documenting control testing engagements, clearly defining scope, evidence and conclusions
- Using data, analytical techniques and technology-enabled tools to improve the efficiency and coverage of assurance activity
- Identifying themes, trends and potential control weaknesses and escalating findings where appropriate
- Producing management information, assurance reports and governance materials to support oversight and remediation tracking
- Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders while providing constructive challenge and evidence-based assurance conclusions
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in assurance, audit, compliance monitoring, controls testing or risk management activities
- Understanding of control frameworks and their application within financial services environments
- Knowledge of assurance testing methodologies, including evidence assessment and findings documentation
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Experience supporting issue management, remediation tracking and governance reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and curious mindset with an interest in improving processes, controls and assurance outcomes
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

- Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
- There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
- We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
