Job Description

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing customized support to the Private Credit team, as well as back-up support to administrative staff. This role will deliver support to team members within Private Credit by providing executive-level administrative assistance, receiving clients and visitors, arranging travel and correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing expense reports.

  • Responsible for the administrative support to the Head of Private Credit and client-facing members on the Private Credit team.
  • Exercise a high degree of judgement and discretion in all tasks.
  • Provide support to other administrative staff members as needed, including reception coverage and supply maintenance.
  • Assist with onboarding and set up of new hires on the team.
  • Review and comply with L&G Asset Management, America policies applicable to business activities.
  • Act as liaison between departments to facilitate communication at the executive level.
  • Schedule and organize department and administrative project activities, including but not limited to, meeting book printing and shipping.
  • Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department events for designated team members.
  • Process expense reports and generate and manage correspondence.
  • Act as the point of contact between executives and internal/external clients.
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately in a professional and timely manner, including calls and messages.
  • Support and contribute to business management initiatives within the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of executive-level administrative support experience required.
  • Ability to earn trust and cultivate relationships with internal and external partners, clients, and colleagues across the organization.
  • Strong prioritization skills to manage complex and evolving business needs.
  • Efficient calendar and travel management.
  • Ability to react to changing situations, tight deadlines, and pressurized environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative and leadership skills, with sound judgement on when to involve others.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to set priorities based on urgency and importance within the department and L&G Asset Management, America’s overall directive.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding information related to clients, transactions, colleagues, and internal projects.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills.
  • Experience in business management is preferred.

Additional Information

The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan.
