This role sits at the intersection of analytics, data science and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on enabling better decision making, setting standards, and accelerating the use of data across the business.

You will work collaboratively with technical colleagues and business stakeholders, helping to shape how data science is applied while remaining hands on with modelling, experimentation and solution delivery.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Contributing to the migration of legacy data and reporting solutions onto modern cloud platforms
    • Creating intuitive visual outputs and interfaces to improve access to data and insights
    • Helping define and promote standards for data science tools, approaches and ways of working
    • Collaborating with other data professionals to productionise and maintain scalable solutions

    Who we're looking for:

    • Experience developing data science or machine learning solutions in a commercial or advanced analytical environment
    • Strong skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modelling and analysis
    • Experience working with large, complex datasets and applying appropriate data quality checks
    • A solid understanding of a range of machine learning techniques and when to apply them
    • Confidence explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
    • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tooling such as cloud data warehouses or analytics engineering tools
    • A proactive, curious approach and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
    • A degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

    • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
    • Generous pension contribution
    • Life assurance
    • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
    • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
