We’re looking for an experienced and thoughtful leader to head up our Investment Oversight function. This role plays a critical part in strengthening governance, assurance and decision making across Investments, providing oversight, insight and constructive challenge while supporting high‑quality customer outcomes. • Providing independent challenge and expert insight to senior investment leaders on risk and control effectiveness
  • Owning and operating the first line risk‑based assurance framework for Investments
  • Overseeing the identification, escalation and remediation of material issues and themes
  • Partnering with Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit on investment‑related matters
  • Delivering clear, decision‑useful management information and thematic reporting to senior forums

Who we’re looking for:

  • Significant senior experience within investment or asset management in an oversight, risk, governance or COO‑type role
  • Strong understanding of investment operating models, processes and financial instruments
  • Proven experience leading first line assurance, oversight or control frameworks
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory and governance expectations relevant to asset management
  • Confidence engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders, including fund managers and executives
  • Experience delivering through large‑scale change or operating model transformation
  • A constructive, evidence‑based approach to challenge and decision making
  • Clear, inclusive communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into practical outcomes

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are the many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
