Job Description
Are you passionate about creating clear, engaging and effective communications that truly make a difference for customers? We’re looking for a Communications Manager to help us shape and deliver high‑quality member communications across the full customer journey. You’ll join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team, working with colleagues across Retail and the wider Group to create comms that are insight‑driven, customer‑centred, and aligned to our strategic goals.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and delivering transactional member communications and literature across schemes, ensuring alignment with brand, tone of voice and customer‑centric principles
- Working with agencies and third‑party suppliers to develop materials that meet briefs, budgets and timelines
- Tracking and reporting on communications performance, using insight to enhance effectiveness and outcomes
- Using customer and member insight, analytics and data to shape communications and continuously improve messaging
- Implementing communication updates across channels and running test‑and‑learn activity to optimise impact
- Building strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working within risk and compliance frameworks to ensure communications meet required standards
- Partnering with teams across Retail and Group to share learnings and align customer journeys for improved outcomes
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with experience interpreting data and insights
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and prioritising effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in designing and delivering customer‑facing communications
- Background in marketing or creative environments, ideally including agency interaction
- Familiarity with customer engagement strategies and digital communication channels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with composition tools (e.g., Quadient Interactive) is desirable
