Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Head of ERP Implementation to join us.
L&G Finance function is undergoing significant transformation through a groupwide Finance Transformation Programme. Our aim to create a future-ready Finance function that supports our strategic goals with greater efficiency as part of our operating model.
A key part of this transformation is the ERP Leader, who will implement a single ERP solution across the Group. Your role will be crucial in designing and implementing this solution,
What you’ll be doing:
- Be responsible for defining the ERP requirements and design solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
- Identify, monitor, and resolve programme issues/risks, ensuring alignment with ERP governance.
- Advise the Change Director on outputs and outcomes to meet ERP programme requirements.
- Optimise the timing of new ERP deliverables into business operations.
- Ensure ERP progress aligns with other Finance change activities to support our Finance vision.
- Collaborate with Finance leads to design and implement a new ERP operating model.
- Actively build strong relationships with key Finance stakeholders and prepare and engage business areas for new processes.
- Ensure ERP compliance is within the Financial Control Framework and Legal & General commitment to our customers.
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- You will need to have extensive experience in managing and delivering ERP projects of similar scope and size.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the Legal & General Group and its products.
- An In-depth knowledge of finance activities and ERP applications.
- Proven track record of implementing significant finance changes.
- Can demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams.
- Be skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and analysing complex problems.
- Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Have excellent communication, report writing, and process improvement skills.
