Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Customer Communications Executive to join us. You will help to create, deliver, monitor, and maintain market leading customer communications to support our line of guaranteed income retirement products. You will champion the customer by ensuring our communications are clear and compliant, enabling customers to make decisions that are effective, timely and informed.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of clear and compliant customer communications, ensuring Retail Annuities customers have all the information they need to make informed decisions
    • Managing the schedule of communications testing, ensuring communications meet their objectives and align with the FCA's Consumer Duty customer understanding outcome
    • Developing and implementing plans for product, propositional, customer journey, or regulatory changes impacting communications to meet business objectives
    • Ensuring that the development and ongoing management of all online and offline communications is consistent and in line with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) standards, marketing objectives, brand, and tone of voice
    • Documenting, mapping, and version controlling all communications with a clear audit history, adhering to all team processes and controls for effective management and planning
    • Using data and behavioural science techniques to identify opportunities to enhance communications across multiple channels, improving overall customer understanding, experience, and engagement
    • Communicating updates and attaining all necessary stakeholder reviews and approvals, ensuring all communications are technically accurate, relevant, and meet regulatory requirements
    • Informing all business stakeholders about changes, plans, and initiatives, and coordinating delivery and literature roll-out
    • Developing relationships with product owners, transformation teams, design agencies, and suppliers to ensure deadlines and objectives are met

    Qualifications

    Who we're looking for:

    • Strong organisational skills
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Understanding of brand and advertising standards principles
    • Knowledge of pensions and retirement products
    • Understanding of regulation around retirement products particularly the FCAs Consumer Duty
    • Previous copywriting qualification or experience is desirable
    • Experience of working in a communications/marketing environment
    • Experience working with creative agencies, print and fulfilment houses
