Job Description

We're very excited to be recruiting for a Junior PMO Analyst role within our Group Functions division based out of our Hove offices to support the governance and control of the Service Office, your new role will be critical in delivering core PMO Services which enable effective delivery of the Group Change Portfolio, including reporting and tracking and oversight of MI.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Supporting the PMO in the delivery of key project/ portfolio processes and any changes to ensure a high level of service is provided to our stakeholders in line with requirements.
    • Supporting PMO in the maintenance of portfolio, project and resource data within our PPM tool to ensure all projects and resources are correctly tracked and aligned by cost centre, workstream etc.
    • Supporting the PMO with demand and capacity reporting and maintain a view of the resource profile.
    • Ensuring monthly reporting requirements (e.g., Status, Risks & Issues, Dependencies etc) are received on time and of the required quality.
    • Support with monitoring of PM adherence to lifecycle framework and associated standards, controls and processes, including staged gate process.
    • Ensuring supplier work orders are processed in line with L&G approvals processes. 
    • Supporting in the production of packs for all relevant meetings and capture and track minutes/ actions and decisions from key meeting forums in a timely and accurate manner.

    Qualifications

    Who we're looking for:

    • Previous experience working in PMO is desirable.
    • Familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile and the appropriate application of these methods.
    • Knowledge of project management processes, tools, performance measurement and metrics
    • Numerate and analytical.
    • Exposure to financial/analytical activities
    • Excellent organisational skills with strong Microsoft Office skills – with extensive understanding of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Keyed In or equivalent PPM tool would be an advantage.
