Job Description

We’re recruiting for two Employee Relations Policy and Change Consultantsto join us on a 12 month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.

We are recruiting for two positions in this team. One will focus on Policy the other will focus on Change although there will be cross over between both roles.

  • Supporting the employee relations (ER) policy and change management activity across L&G
  • Developing, enhancing and implementing new policies with a focus on retaining current employees and attracting new people to L&G
  • Ensuring that these new policies meet legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Providing subject matter expert advice and guidance on consultations and change projects
  • Protecting and enhancing L&G’s positive relationship between HR function and Unions
  • Presenting new ideas to senior stakeholders and supporting the head of the team in change projects and consultations

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Ideally, you will CIPD Level 5 or 7 and a strong understanding of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to identify, interpret and analyse key information to develop new solutions and influence business decisions
  • Previous experience of working with Unions
  • Experience in managing or supporting redundancy, TUPE and/or merger activities
  • Experience in writing ER policies
