Job Description
The HR Service Delivery Management Consultant is responsible for infusing our clients with strategic principles and practices and revolutionize how the HR Service Delivery function fosters a positive workforce experience and contributes to an organization’s operational and financial success. This role is critical in driving positive changes and innovative solutions focused on HR Services, Operations, Case & Knowledge Management and Portal Design. Management Consultants collaborate with executives, senior managers and project teams to ensure overall program success.
Responsibilities & Activities
Work closely with clients to develop a strong understanding of the company’s corporate/HR culture, operating strengths and opportunities
Create strategies for change and collaborate with clients and colleagues to win buy-in for LeapGen recommendations for improving HR processes and systems that complement and support business goals
Assess client HR operations and service delivery models, focusing on workforce experience and HR effectiveness (e.g., logic/definition of roles & responsibilities, process efficiency, use of data, digital technology enablement)
Lead service delivery organizational design and reimagination efforts on behalf of clients covering people (e.g., job definitions, role allocations), process (e.g., applying LEAN and Human Centered Design principles), content/knowledge and technology (e.g., chatbot, portal, case management, workflow)
Foster client relationships that are strong and lasting
Assess client readiness to change and inform their transformation and change management efforts
Play a leadership role in client program governance
Manage schedules and budgets [when a Project Manager is not assigned to a project]
Mentor team members
Contribute to Leapgen's industry thought leadership in collaboration with Services, Marketing and Sales peers
Develop content for and facilitate workshops offered through Leap Academy
Collaborate with Sales to develop new business
Qualifications
Experience, Knowledge and Abilities:
Thorough understanding of Digital Workforce Transformation, HR Service Delivery, and HR Shared Services, HCM & Talent Management domains and trends in the marketplace
5-10 years experience in leadership roles on HR Service Delivery and business transformation projects - strategy and/or deployment
3+ years experience setting up and/or leading HR Operations, including Shared Services organizations
Deep knowledge of enterprise-wide HR Technology and Service Delivery operations
Proven experience redesigning processes using Human Centered and/or LEAN design principles
Proven ability to lead and mentor others
Ability to lead client from discovery through execution
Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) on key decisions during project delivery
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to deliver compelling client presentations
Proven team player and consensus builder
Proven project management and client management experience, including project manager, budget and time management skills
Experience producing project documentation (e.g., project plans, project charters, communications plans, deployment plans)
Ability to collaborate with multiple clients simultaneously, work with remote teams, think creatively, manage own time and take initiative to drive projects
Previous experience managing or implementing HCM / Talent Management processes and/or systems, including content management systems/processes and UX/UI design
Strong understanding of cloud concepts and technologies
Bachelor's Degree, ideally in an HR or IT discipline
Masters Degree a plus
