Job Description

The Digital Workforce Experience Consultant is responsible for infusing our clients with strategic principles and practices and revolutionizing how the HR function fosters a positive workforce experience and contributes to an organization’s operational and financial success. Successful Leapgen Consultants are utility players. They drive positive changes by using their specialized functional and technical knowledge and managing programs of various size and complexity. Consultants collaborate with executives, senior managers and project teams to ensure overall program success.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their culture, operating strengths and opportunities

  • Create strategies for change and collaborate with clients and colleagues to win buy-in for Leapgen recommendations and plans

  • Lead business process re-imagination and design efforts

  • Build clients’ change enablement strategies

  • Assess client readiness to deploy solutions

  • Play a leadership role in client program governance

  • Work with clients and Leapgen team members to design business and technical architectures

  • Help customer teams define functional & technical requirements and advise them on technology solutions to meet them

  • Manage schedules and budgets

  • Coach team members

  • Foster client relationships that are strong and lasting

  • Contribute to Leapgen’s industry thought leadership

  • Identify opportunities to provide or create additional client value

  • Provide sales support as needed on new or existing client engagements

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of Digital Workforce Transformation, several HCM/ Talent Management domains and trends in the marketplace

  • 5-10 years experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities on business transformation projects - strategy and/or deployment preferred

  • Ability to lead client from discovery through execution

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) on key decisions during project delivery

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to deliver strong client presentations

  • Proven team player and consensus builder

  • Proven ability to lead and coach others

  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager with excellent team, budget and time management skills

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple clients simultaneously, work with remote teams, think creatively, manage own time and take initiative to drive projects

  • Previous experience managing or implementing HCM / Talent Management processes and/or systems

  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts and technologies

  • Contribute to the development of delivery tools and resources, thought leadership, and client offerings through personal experience and perspective.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in an HR or IT discipline preferred

  • Master’s Degree a plus

  • Remote (continental US)
  • Travel ~30%
