Job Description

About the Role

The Instructor is responsible for infusing our clients with knowledge to manage their HR Service Delivery practices by using the ServiceNow application. This role serves as a lynchpin to solution adoption.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Conducts education & training needs assessments by collecting information about client service delivery model (e.g., roles, structure, processes / workflows, reporting requirements)

  • Collaborates with clients and project team members to determine the optimal training delivery approach and schedule

  • Designs and develops training materials that reflect understanding of client’s environment, processes and training requirements to help drive adoption

  • Delivers tailored, hands-on education & training in both classroom and virtual settings

  • Uses desktop publishing tools to build and iterate on content with clients

  • Designs and develops bite-sized learning assets (e.g., graphics, gamification elements, quick reference guides)

  • Builds quizzes (skill checks)

  • Leads the identification, promotion and deployment of the most effective and innovative practices in learning delivery

  • Reviews client assessments to continually enhance skills / training delivery effectiveness

  • Maintains practical functional and technical understanding of ServiceNow applications on an ongoing basis / through new releases

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Adept at managing development and delivery of deliverables for several clients simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to deliver strong client presentations

  • Working Knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow highly preferred

  • Previous experience delivering live instruction strongly preferred

  • Experience with professional screen recording and video editing

  • Ability to collaborate with clients, work with a remote team, think creatively and manage own time

  • High Proficiency in Adobe Captivate (version 9 preferred)

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology, new processes and procedures, and standards in an environment of continuous improvement

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet all scheduled deadlines

  • Prior experience developing engaging and clear instructional materials for delivery in a variety of formats

  • Proficiency in Adobe CS suite of applications desirable

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional or media design, or related field or equivalent work experience
