Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Strategy and Planning Practice Leader will ensure that LeadMD is able to meet its revenue growth goals. Strategy and Planning Practice Leader’s ultimate responsibility is to develop and deliver engagements in the area of go-to-market strategy and planning. Our job is to help our clients accelerate revenue though the development and execution of a world class go-to-market strategy, and that means helping them succeed as marketers. This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Remote candidates will be explored only under exceptional circumstances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivery:

  • Lead strategic workshops for clients and recommend strategic direction
  • Helps to prioritize initiatives in relationship to greatest impact on client revenue goals or KPIs
  • Works on several customer projects at the same time, and must have the ability to constantly shift gears, solve problems, synthesize ideas, and listen to changing needs
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of the comprehensive LeadMD methodology, including the Revenue Acceleration Framework
  • Manage and lead teams with cross-functional skills including technical, marketing, and project management skills

Practice Development:

  • Development and document the integrated go-to-market strategy offering
  • Continued development of the LeadMD strategic delivery methodology
  • Guide and develop consulting team on go-to-market strategy best practices via one on one coaching, one to many training, job aids and delivery support
  • Develop and manage existing consulting offerings
  • Aid sales and marketing teams in positioning, solutioning and selling go-to-market strategy offering

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional consulting setting, with demonstrated experience in got-to-market strategy
  • Experience and demonstrated expertise in the management of a professional services team; excellent customer-facing skills
  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility; good problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Expert level of understanding of client management and project budgeting skills
  • Experience successfully working in fast–paced, entrepreneurial environments with minimal guidance
  • Phenomenal communication skills – both written, verbal and non-verbal
  • Familiarity with Marketing Technology (e.g. Marketo and Salesforce.com) platforms a plus
  • Industry Experience: Technology, Financial, Hospitality, Medical, Manufacturing all a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Alignment to LeadMD’s Core Values
  • Location: AZ (remote will be considered for special candidates)
  • Travel: Up to 40%
