We have a great opportunity for a Revenue Director wanting to progress at an award-winning hotel in Essex. With over 150 bedrooms, health club and spa the hotel also offers a wide range of meeting and event space which is ideal for day meetings, residential conferences or weddings.

Own transport is a must due to the location of the property.

Purpose of the role

The Revenue Director is a standalone role which will develop, lead and communicate the Hotel’s commercial strategy with the General Manager.

Within this role key areas of focus will be to maximize revenue including accurate and timely forecasts and budgets, yield management of all areas of the business including accommodation, F&B packages, Spa and Golf, along on-going competitor analysis.

It will also be essential to develop and maintain effective communication between key personnel, ensuring successful delivery of financial targets.

Desired Experience and Knowledge

·Revenue Management experience within a resort-based hotel

·Already a proven Revenue Manager within hospitality and events industry (2 years approx.)

·Experienced in or a desire to manage all revenue streams within the hotel, i.e. accommodation, F&B packages, Spa and Golf

·Experienced team manager with proven ability to target and develop individuals

·Experience of implementation of report process and development of reporting tools via systems such as Delphi/Sales & Catering

·Excellent knowledge of the local direct and third-party market

·Ability to work under pressure

·Financially aware with commercial focus

·Organised, with proven time management and planning skills in sales office environment

·The hotel is offering the successful Revenue Director a salary circa £50,000 PA.
