Job Description

The Sales Audit Analyst will ensure that sales transaction from POS and Ecommerce are completed accurately on a daily basis and investigates all variances. Reconciliation of cash bank deposits and debit and credit card transactions

THE ROLE

1.Sales Audit

  • Ensures all stores have been “polled” and communicates with IT Department when necessary.
  • Corrects all rejected transactions and corrects all imbalances.
  • Investigates store variances (short or over) in Sales Audit system.
  • Reconciles stores’ bank deposits and applies all necessary corrections within assigned deadlines, updates Finance on outstanding deposit amounts daily
  • Reconciles debit and credit cards with Moneris.
  • Weekly and monthly reports for Finance department.
  • Reconciles store disbursement
  • Monthly tax audits
  • Communicates with stores on a regular basis to resolve issues.
  • Set up of new stores with banks and Moneris.
  • Review chargebacks from Moneris within the time restrictions and informs the Loss Prevention Team of any suspicious transactions.
  • Support customer service department with customer issues.
  • Works with customer service team to process ecommerce adjustments and requests.
  • Prepare and record gift cards for online orders and head office requests
  • Assist with coordinating and completing information requests for financial audits from auditors.

2. Loss Prevention

  • Assist with various LP reporting.
  • Summarize the monthly over/shorts from Sales Audit.
  •  Assists Loss Prevention Manager with retrieving data for internal or external theft cases.
  • Support store management on Loss Prevention activities, theft, shrink and fraud.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in Sales Audit or retail operations.
  • Accounting knowledge (DEC or related industry equivalent)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Sales Audit, Aptos is an asset
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and discrete.
  • Bilingualism
