Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic Organizational Development Specialist to join our team.

The Organizational Development Specialist provides organizational development expertise, support and creative solutions to attract, retain and engage talents and to promote a high-performance culture combined with an inclusive and stimulating work environment.

In the context of deploying a new Human Resources service offering, you will assist the Organizational Development Manager in the following tasks:

  • Design and implement the organizational development strategy and translate it into concrete measures, initiatives and programs.
  • Optimize existing practices, processes, tools, systems and programs, and create new ones based on industry’s research and best practices.
  • Ensure consistency of practices and compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements, and implement key performance indicators and follow-ups.
  • Advise, support and guide executives and HRBPs in the various organizational development practices, including:
  • Talent management (data analysis, talent identification, development and follow-up)
  • Definition and promotion of the employer brand and employee value proposition
  • Team building, workforce engagement and retention (including employee opinion surveys and action plan follow-up)
  • Change management
  • Succession planning
  • Performance management
  • Training, potential assessment, skills development for Head Office and stores, and leadership development
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Onboarding of new employees

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, management or a related field of study. A master's degree in organizational development is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, including at least 3 years in organizational development
  • Creative, proactive, accountable, resourceful, flexible, curious, and positive
  • Ability to learn quickly, to influence, to work in a changing environment, to analyze and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong knowledge of the Office Suite
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
  • Bilingualism
