Job Description

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Fulfillment Center Supervisor is responsible for the daily floor operations of the Cycling Avenue team. They will coordinate the workflow of incoming bike and accessories shipments, keeping the receiving team motivated and focused while ensuring process accuracy, performing audits and training the team. They will foster a positive work environment that embraces Laps brand values and achieves key company objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about cycling and is a self-starter who is dependable and dynamic with excellent organizational skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Receive cycling product and equipment into the warehouse 

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse 

  • Help promote a safe work environment, enforcing health and safety practices and procedures 

  • Coordinate the workflow for the incoming goods, ensuring productivity targets and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met 

  • Coach and train new and existing employees 

  • Audit processes, performing analysis for process improvement.  

  • Ensure effective flow of customer inbound and outbound orders in the Fulfillment Center 

  • Resolve issues related to shipments and ensure there are no escalations 

  • Collaborate with other departments to solve problems 

  • Track team performance and deliver consistent feedback 

Qualifications

Your Profile

A bicycle enthusiast with strong leadership and problem solving skills.

With:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of bike specifications (road, mountain, and e-bike) 

  • 3+ years of experience in bike shop or job related to the cycling industry 

  • 6 months of experience managing team 

  • Ability to perform manual and physical work such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time when required 

  • Analytical skill, report writing skills for process improvement 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel 

  • Data driven approach to problem solving 

  • Solid time management and organizational skills 

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills 

  • Solution first mindset with a strong drive to drive continuous improvement
