Job Description

The Opportunity

The Email & Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for managing building, testing, and deploying omni-channel CRM campaigns & customer journeys. More specifically, the role will be focusing on advanced segmentation, strategizing, executing tests and using technology to personalize communications based on the customer & product lifecycle. They will work closely with the CRM Specialist, Customer Retention Lead, the Brands teams, and the Design Studio. This position will be the point of contact and strategic influencer for all projects related to email, SMS, push notification and direct marketing deployment.


  • Ownership of the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all things email, SMS, push notification & direct marketing campaigns. This includes planning, list selection/creation, segmentation, redaction, brief creation for design, build and deployment.
  • Ensure high quality and error free implementation, testing and QA of email, SMS & DM campaigns. Continuously review ways to improve the process to make it more efficient.
  • Lead the marketing automation program, ensuring performance and a consistent customer experience throughout the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the CRM Specialist to develop new opportunities & channels and elevate current platform technological capabilities.
  • Lead and evolve the sophistication of the data and targeting strategy to ensure campaigns are as personalized and relevant to its audience as possible.
  • Frequently conduct A/B tests and analyze results to improve retention, customer satisfaction, conversion rate, and LTV.
  • Maintain relationship with the service providers (Attentive, HubSpot, YotPo, etc.) to ensure projects and integrations meet milestones and deadlines.



Your profile

You have an excellent track-record in managing the implementation of omni-channel & automated CRM campaigns and customer journeys, a strong focus on data analytics & performance optimization, and you are result-oriented.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience leading the execution of omni-channel & automated CRM campaigns and customer journeys (mainly email and SMS, other channels an asset)
  • Strong and proven expertise in CRM platform (HubSpot is an important asset)
  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel (Magento, HTML & CSS is a strong asset)
  • Excellent project management skills (in addition to having strong organizational and time-management skills).
  • Strong analytical skills (building reports, interpreting data, making business recommendations).
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities collaborating with diverse stakeholders and different time-sensitive/long-term implications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, with an emphasis on impactful delivery
