Lan Pya Kyel Association (“LPK”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is local organization in Myanmar. LPK is currently providing full comprehensive package of HIV prevention and treatment to vulnerable populations particularly, sex workers and men who have sex with men and Transgender Women. Organization has been implementing HIV and related programs throughout the country since 1st March 2021.  Lan Pya Kyel is now inviting applications to fill the following position:

Job Description

Data Entry and Management

  • Ensure the usage of Unique Numerical Identity (UNiD) for clients who access LPK’s services.
  • Accurately enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and national and organization data system (e.g., DHIS2, Open MRS, EMR, etc.), in a defined timely manner.
  • Maintain and update data records regularly.
  • Ensure data verification, data cleaning, accuracy, completeness, and consistency before dataset and report submission.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all data including information of clients and staff.
  • Accomplish regular data back-up according to organization data policy.
  • Given FDF is the focal point of the data, he/she is responsible for data entry and management of all LPK services, either of ongoing activities or innovations.
  • Data entry to SNS form (testing date) and LPK data collection form - (SNS Hotspot code) by reviewing the coupons delivered from Peer Mobilizer, whenever applicable.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with Virtual KPSC team members such as Medical Officer, Senior Online Officer, Counselors, Junior Online Officers and Hotline Operator to ensure the entry of program data and adherence of Pre-ART, ART or PrEP clients as per program guidelines, whenever applicable.
  • Record daily forms and documents and prepare reports on time, whenever applicable.

 

Data Collection

  • Assist in collecting data through surveys, forms, interviews, and other methods, when assigned.
  • Coordinate with field staff and Coordination Office for timely data submission.

 

Reporting and Documentation

  • Generate field level reports and summaries from databases, spreadsheets and information management system.
  • Maintain proper filling and documentation of data-related materials.
  • Assist in compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, when assigned.

 

Quality assurance

  • Identify data discrepancies and correct errors and help field staff find discrepancies and error correction.
  • Assist in the implementation of data quality checks, including hosting RDQA visits.
  • Provide feedback to field team on data-related issues.

 

Coordination and Communication

  • Collaborate with Operation, Program, M&E, and IT teams as needed.
  • Support capacity-building sessions on data management for outreach staff.
  • Ensure prompt and effective inform to M&E Officer about data management challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science or related field.
  • At least 1-year experience of data management in HIV/TB program, and an experience in other health program would be an asset.
  • Ability to handle information and data confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel, Word, database systems (e.g., DHIS2, Open MRS, Kobo, etc.).
  • Good communication skills and proven teamwork.
