Lan Pya Kyel Association (“LPK”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is local organization in Myanmar and an affiliate of PSI/Myanmar. Organization is currently providing full comprehensive package of HIV prevention and treatment to vulnerable populations particularly, sex workers and men who have sex with men and Transgender Women. Organization has been implementing HIV and related programs throughout the country for the past 15 years with the name of “TOP”.  Lan Pya Kyel is now inviting applications to fill the following position:

Job Description

  • During the period of M&E system development, work closely with M&E manager and learn feedbacks and upgrade the system.
  • Once guideline is upgraded, train staff and make sure all staff are regularly trained / updated on any changes, as relevant to their position.
  • Keeps an up-to-date version of the monitoring guidelines and disseminates across the program team as relevant.
  • Keep program data for completeness, validity, consistency, integrity and confidentiality in transferring from service delivery level, Intermediate level to MIS level.
  • Develops and maintain a data monitoring schedule for reporting system; monitoring visits in association with the Site Supervisors.
  • Ensure LPK databases security and transactions in stable state.
  • Responds to ad-hoc information and preparation to assist head of the unit.
  • Program data verification at the intermediate level and Assists to perform RDQA periodically in secondary city locations.
  • Ensures relevant LPK program data is entered in the central MIS in accordance with M&E guideline.  Compiles and provides relevant program information for reporting in assisting head of unit, e.g.: training attendance lists, pictures, success stories.
  • Assists M&E manager to generate reports, analyze data and respond to program queries.
  • Prepare program information for publicizing on media and Internal release.
  • Processing research study as assigned by head of unit.
  • Translation of documents for program purpose. (English to Myanmar vice versa).
  • Focal point for information and feedbacks collecting for Beneficiary Accountability system from community, program team and third party.
  • Key liaison focal point between LPK Program and M&E Unit; ensures streamlining of data management systems for LPK, including central MIS and LPK databases, and for database and monthly reports adaptation if required.
  • Act as technical support person of LPK team to implement advanced reporting systems designed by Head of unit and consultants, use of GPS, GIS and electronic information communication technologies, and troubleshooting of databases.
  • Updates “cruising points” beneficiary/program information for all LPK sites,

Qualifications

  • Must be University degree in information technology and/or social science, public health or other related fields.
  • At least two years of successful continuous work experience (preferably in HIV/TB control programme) and proven skills in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting including in development of programme monitoring and evaluation plans, narrative reports and indicator tracking tables.
  • Must have experiences in MS Excel, MS Access. MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
  • Must have understanding the professional knowledge on program monitoring, statistical data management, information/database management.
  • Good English skill is necessary.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively to meet targets assigned by head of unit. 
  • Must be able to understand basic communication skills and effectively communicate with other departmental staffs.
