Job Description

Children learn and grow better when their environments are designed with them in mind — and that's exactly where you come in. As a Regional Sales Manager, Healthcare, you'll build lasting relationships with children's hospitals, ABA providers, and special-care facilities across your region, helping their teams create spaces where children can thrive. You'll bring Lakeshore's expertise directly to the healthcare leaders and administrators who shape those environments every day. If you love owning a region, opening doors, and making a real difference for children and families, this role was built for you.

A day on the job looks like this:

  • Manage and grow a region by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and consistently hitting revenue goals across children's hospitals, ABA facilities, and special-care centers.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans in partnership with sales leadership, using market insights and customer feedback to refine your approach and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare administrators, organizational leaders, and clinical decision-makers — positioning Lakeshore as the go-to partner for age-appropriate, safe learning environments.
  • Collaborate closely with inside sales, marketing, and the Professional Services Group to align messaging, sharpen collateral, and deliver a seamless experience for healthcare customers.
  • Stay current on local, state, and national trends in autism services, ABA reimbursement, and pediatric healthcare funding — and translate that knowledge into smarter conversations with prospects and customers.
  • Represent Lakeshore at regional and national healthcare conferences, building brand visibility and sourcing new leads within your market.

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of field sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a healthcare, therapeutic, or related environment.
  • Comfort engaging stakeholders at every level — from frontline clinicians to C-suite administrators — with clear, persuasive communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a CRM platform (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Candidates should ideally reside in the Chicago area and have the ability to travel extensively within the territory, with 75%+ travel required

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with ABA therapy, pediatric healthcare, or early childhood development and the funding landscapes that support them.
  • Experience selling to health systems, IDNs, or large multi-site healthcare organizations.
  • Established relationships with healthcare procurement or facilities leaders in Texas or surrounding states.

What sets you apart:

  • You treat a "no" as the start of a longer conversation — you stay curious about what the customer actually needs and find a way to be useful anyway.
  • You keep your internal partners as informed as your external ones, because you know a well-coordinated team closes more business than a lone wolf.
  • You pick up on shifts in the market early — new funding streams, regulatory changes, emerging providers — and you move before your competitors do.

Additional Information

And here’s our end of the bargain!

  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Paid leave for new parents to support work/life balance and family bonding
  • Excellent medical/dental and vision coverage—EPO, PPO and HSA
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday)
  • Flexible benefit options—choose what you like, ignore the rest
  • Generous employee discount on products
