Job Description

We are currently seeking a Inbound Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the team responsible for processing inbound deliveries while also supporting the Lakeshore Standard of Excellence. The position also requires maintaining quality and SLAs for each task in a timely fashion. Applicants should have a proven ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate also possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

A day on the job looks like this: 

  • Ensure Inbound associates are following all standardized processes to unload, receive and put away product safely and accurately 
  • Planning and monitoring daily labor needs based on immediate and forecasted order and unit volumes 
  • Set daily goals and monitor performance to ensure goals are achieved 
  • Develop, implement and maintain the quality of Inbound processes 
  • Assign duties and assess work for exactness and conformance to policies and procedures 
  • Continue to work on process improvement 
  • Ensure team members receive training for job activities and define specific job assignments 
  • Train, coach and mentor associates 
  • Build a strong Inbound team that is goal-oriented and maintains the Lakeshore Standard of excellence 
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1–3 years of prior Inbound Operations or similar experience 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, with focus in Outlook and Excel 
  • Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol 
  • Excellent attention to detail
