Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an experienced Fraud Manager to lead the development of our Fraud department with a specific focus on cybersecurity, cyber source systems, PayPal and Retail fraud. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and enhancing fraud prevention strategies and ensuring the security and integrity of our payment processes. Applicants should have proven experience in fraud management, particularly in the context of cyber source systems, Stripe, FICO, SAP and PayPal. The ideal applicant also has strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and payment security protocols. 

A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Lead efforts to secure payment processes, particularly within cyber source systems and PayPal, to prevent fraudulent transactions and chargebacks 
  • Identify and log patterns, then resolve them through different platforms (Amex, Discover, Visa and Mastercard) 
  • Manage strategy design and configuration in fraud prevention platforms 
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners, including payment processors and cybersecurity firms, to implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends 
  • Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraudulent activities, document findings and report to relevant authorities as necessary 
  • Design and execute fraud prevention strategies, utilizing data analysis, machine learning and fraud detection tools to proactively identify and mitigate risks 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal and Finance, to integrate fraud prevention measures into existing processes and systems 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field 
  • Familiarity with fraud detection and prevention tools and technologies 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Retail fraud experience with BOPIS issues for multiple locations

  • Salary: $99,000-$110,000 with an annual bonus of up to 15%
