Job Description
The role of a Retail & Sales Project Manager will primarily be responsible for communicating to the Executive Teams and keep them focused on priorities set forth by the Senior Vice President of Retail and Sales Strategy. They will manage executive level projects, including aligning projects with business goals and solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage, and effectiveness. The Project Manager will be the central point of contact for our executive teams, ensuring all milestones within a project are met, and that all teams are aligned by providing clear and concise planning and communication to achieve successful executions. The ability to work independently while adjusting and adapting management styles and techniques to the uniqueness of each project and individual is essential to success in this role.
A day in the office looks like this:
- Working closely with the Senior VP of Retail and Sales Strategy to establish and communicating strategic goals.
- Collaborating with executive leadership to ensuring activities are aligned with the strategy.
- Understanding and executing the vision of assigned projects and how they align to the overall business strategy.
- Influencing stakeholders across divisions (without formal reporting lines).
- Responsible for project management from inception to completion.
- Working cross functionally to achieving project success and meeting deliverables.
- Contributing to in-person meetings and activities including collaborating with leadership through planning and/or participation.
- Communicating broadly and effectively to all intended audiences.
- Anticipating and managing change effectively in fast-paced business environment.
- Defining processes and tools best suited to each project with agility moving between approaches depending on project specifics and goals.
- Organizing and leading kick-off and status meetings with various team members to ensure that project needs and deadlines are being met, and sending clear and concise recap of next steps.
- Managing sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the global operations of the company.
- Preparing Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, and special projects in support of objectives.
- Following up consistently with leadership on updates from meeting action items to ensure completion.
- Completing adhoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Retail environment experience a must.
- Ability to thrive in an ever changing, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary.
- Develop timelines and manage orderly flow of projects from initial scoping development to execution and production of final deliverables.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, results driven agile self-starter mindset.
- The ability to communicate effectively with people at various levels, as well as the ability to develop strong relationships.
- The ability to assess priorities and determine a course of action and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and respond effectively to changes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)
