When you join Lakeshore as Senior Vice President of Sales, you’ll help position Lakeshore to meet industry demands, drive sales and extend our company’s reach—and be rewarded for your team’s successes. On top of a super-competitive base salary, there’s no cap on commissions at Lakeshore. We also support you and your outside sales force with an inside sales team that knows your territory inside and out, plus an in-house marketing team that’s here to provide all the tools and resources you need to make the sales. 

A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Driving sales nationally through daily management of geographical regions across the country
  • Managing multiple Regional Vice Presidents across the country and overseeing teams within those geographic regions
  • Managing strategy/pipeline in partnership with Sales Ops
  • Spending up to 75% of the time in the field
  • Regularly working across departments, including with the Executive Leadership team
  • Working closely with the Business Development team on strategy and vision
  • Facilitating customer interactions at all levels of business
  • Overseeing multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Providing resolutions for escalated customer concerns and challenges
  • Building KPI metrics for Salesforce and managing accountability
  • Leading weekly divisional calls, quarterly calls and annual sales meetings
  • Managing compensation plans
  • Driving and promoting employee engagement and morale
  • Guiding team members to pursue relationships with city, county and state government officials; university administrators; and community-based organizations to support cutting-edge learning environments for children
  • Personally interacting with high-level customers and securing new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Participating in local, state and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand
  • Providing effective training and mentorship to help team members reach and surpass sales goals
  • Developing and analyzing sales strategies and global positioning
  • Maintaining an ongoing awareness of local, state and national trends—as well as funding opportunities—in early learning and elementary education

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of successful Sales management experience across various channels and geographic locations
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Background in early learning, elementary education and outside sales a plus but not required
  • Experience selling goods and related services
  • Experience working with government entities a plus but not required
  • Based in a major metropolitan area such as Philadelphia with the ability to travel throughout your region
  • Exemplary presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs at all levels
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Experience with conflict management and building/scaling teams
  • Superb written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with sales reporting and KPI metrics management
